Contributing Author will write literary essays with strong writing skills. The writer should be open to collaborative exchange of ideas with the editorial team in order to deliver the commissioned work most efficiently.
This is a freelance writing position. Based on future evaluation options of full-time/part-time; or internship roles could be arranged.
Will develop subject ideas, drawing on excellent writing skills (preferably creative non-fiction/literary essays) and topics that align with the content of The Daily life Magazine
Applicants should have a sense of The Daily life Magazine’s tone and sensibility
Will deliver well researched essays
Submit commissioned material in the style required and to deadline
Receive feedback and revise work as a requested
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years writing experience in English
- Undergraduate/Post-graduate degree in English Literature, or ANY OTHER subject area with strong proven record of long-form writing experience
- Working knowledge of SEO
- Strong attention to detail during the stages of the editorial process
- Additional Interest in Art, Music, Science (Fiction/Non-Fiction), Nature, Science and Technology would be an advantage
Please provide published writing samples or a 200-300 word writing sample on a topic that aligns with The Daily Life Magazine, along with CV while applying.
Would be responsible for all aspects of the Bimonthly Issue – the topics, the graphics (commissioning), the presentation
Would use feedback and analytics to enhance value of written material
Excellent writing and editing skills in order to produce good quality material
Good communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively coordinate among the team of writers and graphics artists
Supervise the flow and structure of the articles. Guide writers to do necessary research for an article and help tailoring articles to the tone and style of the magazine.
Familiar with or passionate about the concept of the magazine.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Post Graduate degree in English literature
- 2-3 years writing and editing experience in English
- Interest in Literature, Art, Music, Science (Fiction/Non-Fiction), Technology, Sports would be an advantage

Highly-creative marketing talent needed to help grow The Daily Life Magazine (TDLM)’s reach while also increasing brand awareness and loyalty. Experience in digital publishing would be treated as an advantage.
Marketing: Conceptualize and execute the GTM strategy for TDLM. Envision the branding and marketing campaigns for TDLM and maintain a consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
Branding: Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising. Maintaining TDLM’s social media presence across all digital channels and measuring and reporting on the performance across campaigns
Content and Product: Develop and execute the integrated marketing plans with a special focus on content offerings, working closely with internal & external stakeholders. Identify market trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance
Business/Revenue: Conceptualise and execute the lead generation strategy for consistent and sustainable revenue growth
Design: Oversee the artwork and creatives needed for all campaigns and ensure compliance to brand identity
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in marketing or relevant field with strong academic credentials
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Background or Interest in Art, Music, Science (Fiction/Non-Fiction), Environment, and Technology would be an advantage
- Ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities
- Ability to organize brand and marketing events and monitor ROI delivery
- Solid understanding of SEO techniques
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics
- Deep knowledge of web design principles
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
- Sound knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ad campaigns
- Create paid campaigns on social media platforms
- Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
- Create email blast campaigns to target key customers.
